Our Featured Artist this month is Liz Black from Apple Jack Crafts. Liz is a new member of the Hertfordshire Craft Collective and makes gorgeous items using different decorative paint effects. We're just mad about beads....

Here at the Hertfordshire School of Jewellery we're just mad about making jewellery. To compliment our fantastic jewellery making workshops and also our brand new Hetfordshire Craft Collective we will now be stocking a gorgeous array of beads! HSJ has had a range of stunning glass beads made especially for them from venice! Stunning glass Lentil Beads - all handmade and hand blown. Also a selection of beads by the string and 1930s vintage murano glass. My favourite - small flowers and petals in venetian glass from the 1940s. They come with a copper wire attached, like a headpin. Gorgeous for all kinds of projects!
